Maroon clown fish are primarily found in the Indo-West Pacific region: Indo-Australian from northern Australia through the archipelago from Papua New Guinea up to and including India, Burma, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, New Guinea, New Britain, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, and Australia (northern Queensland). Maroon clown fish grow up to 7 inches and like some of the other varieties, are territorial and possess an aggressive temperament within their territory
