Amphiprion ocellaris
The SA Black Ice Clown is a cross between a black & white A. ocellaris and a “Snowflake” clown. These clowns have white areas outlined in black and a deep orange color. The ocellaris ranges from the edge of the habitat of the Percula in Northern Australia, through the Indonesian archipelago, all the way up to Thailand and the Philippines and to Southern Japan. The black ocellaris variant is found in Northern Australia from Darwin towards the West. They can grow up to 3.5 inches and are territorial, but quiet within their territory and are less aggressive than the Percula.
Diet- A mixed diet of frozen foods and dry pellets or flakes are recommended to ensure proper health and nutrition. Like all the captive bred fish at Sustainable Aquatics, the dry Hatchery Diet is highly recommended. These fish are accustomed to the food and will readily accept it!
