Anthelia glauca, commonly known as the Waving Hand Coral, is a fast-growing soft coral that is a great addition for reef aquariums looking for a large coral that sways in the current.
These corals need medium to strong waterflow. Waving Hand Corals receive much of their nutrition through their symbiotic zooxanthellae algae, which is hosted within their bodies.
This algae creates energy for the coral through photosynthesis, which requires moderate to high intense aquarium lighting.
The hardy Anthelia glauca corals are a common coral for beginners and are peaceful in any reef tank!
