SA NipNori Tang Food

SA’s NipNori is made from dried USDA Certified Organic seaweed and is an all-natural and nutritious food for grazing herbivorous fishes, especially tangs and rabbitfish, but it is also a healthy supplement for most marine fishes. SA’s NipNori is 40% protein by weight and is a valuable source of vitamins and minerals for aquarium fish. Made from Porphyra yezoensis seaweed, SA’s NipNori is a rich source of calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, vitamin C, and Vitamin B-12, as well as essential Amino Acids (Such as Threonine, Tryptophan, Alanine, and Glycine). It is also high in Omega 3 fatty acids.

Directions for Feeding

A piece of SA’s NipNori approximately 2″ – 4″ square (5 – 10cm) is appropriate for the moderately-stocked 50-gallon (~200 liter) community aquarium. Tear a piece from the sheet and affix the seaweed in the aquarium. A specialized feeding clip can be used, or alternatively, a rubber band can be used to hold the seaweed to a rock or small section of PVC pipe. Allow your fish to graze on the seaweed throughout the day. Remove any uneaten seaweed if it is left overnight. SA’s NipNori can be offered daily.
