Gammarus Amphipods

Gammarus Amphipods are a tropical marine species of Amphipod cultured as a live-feed for picky eaters such as mandarins, wrasses, seahorses, and pipefishes, but they can be use for many fish species, especially when acclimating or conditioning new fishes to the aquarium, as many fish find live amphipods an attractive treat! SA’s amphipods, when added to a new or cycled aquarium, will establish themselves and reproduce in the aquarium, both serving as a “clean-up crew” and a constant food source for the aquarium inhabitants. At Sustainable Aquatics, amphipods are fed primarily the SA Hatchery Diet (also available in a small pouch marketed as “Clearly Complete”), ensuring they are healthy and nutritious!
